About Heidi

Heidi Love

Emerging from violent crime as a child, Heidi Love embarked on a five-year, 12,000-nautical-mile odyssey to sail from Maine to the Bay of Virgins in French Polynesia. Raging storms at sea uncovered repressed memories and threatened her life, inspiring her to find a path toward greater healing.

Heidi wrote her memoir about living bold dreams: Laughing at the Sky—Wild Adventure, Bold Dream, and a Daring Search for a Stolen Childhood an Amazon bestseller in four categories. She also created Knowing Acts—Engage in Healing a calming practice workbook for greater emotional balance, with beautiful original art by Maine watercolorist Linden O’Ryan, and endorsed by Dr. Anne Hallward of Harvard Medical School. These books inspire courageous seekers on their journeys of self discovery.

Today her goal is to support others in their quests to break the silence, manage anxiety and fear, and to rise above trauma and fully live their boldest dreams. One of her favorite qoutes is by the 13-th century poet Rumi. He writes, “The wound is the place where the light enters.”
